Can't get Steam to run through Wine, 13.2

Whenever I try to setup SteamSetup.exe through wine, it installs, but then doesn’t run. I get this terminal output:

The native client runs fine here with oS 13.2 64bit KDE. It’s been a long time since I fooled with wine (both the soft and wet varieties), a windows VM is much more compatible for those few must-use windows-only apps.
