Thank you. I’ve done that. Now a couple of reboots (if they work) to see the results.
Thank you. Well journalctl now shows me what I need to see. Next time the boot fails I will use it to diagnose. This has ben a long and disappointing process.
@ionmich in theory yes, if it gets that far to start logging…
Now I get 1152x864 consistently after login to XFCE. However the boot up to login displays either at 640x480 or 1152x864 randomly. I’m not complaining, just puzzled.
