Network card is configured with wicked service. According to yast (ncurses mode) there’s no change in the usual configuration: fixed IP, prefix /24, etc. I can’t even ping another desktop in the same local network, with “host unreachable” fail message. On a side note, after the update I did see the mok key enroll screen at boot (I don’t know why because there was no update of nvidia drivers, they are locked) and enrolled the keys. Anyway, boot messages showed a failure in starting virtualbox-kmp module, so I deleted it (and virtualbox) with yast, but no change, system still reboot to console.
My goal is to get internet access working to have access to update.

FWIW, rebooted from a previous kernel version and got to the desktop, network connected, so I’ll now try to fix kernel update issue.
But I’m still curious why the network card won’t connect from the console.
