Canon CAPT printer (LBP5050n) stopped working in 11.4

Hello,

after upgrading to OpenSuse 11.4, my CANON LBP5050n printer stopped working. I have cndrvcups-capt-2.20-1.x86_64 installed and these are the command which used to work:
/etc/init.d/cups restart
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p LBP5050n -m CNCUPSLBP5050CAPTK.ppd -v ccp://localhost:59687 -E
/usr/sbin/ccpdadmin -p LBP5050n -o net:10.32.149.20
/etc/init.d/ccpd restart
captstatusui -P LBP5050n

I’ll be grateful for any help you can offer.

I don’t have a Canon printer, but I remember assisting another user (openSUSE11.3) in this thread. Have a read of that and see if it helps your situation. BTW, you mention that you have installed ‘cndrvcups-capt’, but did you also install ‘cndrvcups-common’?

This works again with openSuse 12.2 and new 2.5 version of the capt driver.
