Cannot update OpenSUSE TW (404 error on openSUSE-build-key-1.0-68.1.x86_64.rpm)

Hi, welcome,

Hi.

It looks like when I enter the second command it downloads the openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Non-Oss metadata successfully.

But for “openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Update” I get this:

Repository 'openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Update' is invalid.
[repo-update|http://download.opensuse.org/update/tumbleweed/] Failed to retrieve new repository metadata.

Please, do not post only part of what you see. Always post the input line (so everybody knows exactly what you did) and all output.

OK, install openSUSE-repos-Tumbleweed. It should not time out with the cdn, so that might work.

Strange. It’s really slow and now I get the timeout error for the other repos as well:

Some of the repositories have not been refreshed because of an error.

dist-upgrade: Due to the treatment of orphaned packages dist-upgrade depends on a proper

Mmm, I think the wisest would be to wait for a day, or two. And then try again.

I can’t figure what the issue is. I uninstalled openSUSE-repos-Tumbleweed , deleted my repositories, and then added them again using Myrlyn:

zypper lr -d
# | Alias | Name | Enabled | GPG Check | Refresh | Keep | Priority | Type | URI | Service

After that, I was able to update successfully. However, for the past 3–4 days, I’ve been getting this error again:

sudo zypper dup

If I visit the link : http://cdn.opensuse.org/update/tumbleweed/repodata/437ac586b3f311a8028b05a226da39d34d526f1ac4923650d61306a0ca63daf3ddb2ebcb5c04716f39be 331637356f947ef840c0d1633fdf25017fbe8339b61c-filelists-ext.xml.gz in the browser it successfully downloads it quickly.

Or it’s actually using another mirror, not the ones showed in zypper lr -d? The closest to me should be opensuse.ipacct.com and I think it has some issues: https://download.opensuse.org/app/server/opensuse.ipacct.com

After playing around for a while I disabled geoip as a temporary fix. So now it downloads directly from download.opensuse.org:
sudo nano /etc/zypp/zypp.conf

[main]
download.use_geoip_mirror = false
