Cannot set split view on dolphin

Fresh install using opensuse-migration-tools

Cannot set split view on dolphin either as user root or as normal user ( using dolphin super user mode )

Clicking on the split icon in the menu bar make dolphin to close immediately
In the dolphin configuration panel

Interface / Folder & Tabs / last line : New window → clicking on the checkbox “Begin in split view mode” make dolphin to close immediately when clicking on ‘Apply’ button

Any help is welcome.

There is no problem with a normal user.
Only problem for user ‘root’ or normal user using dolphin super user mode

I am trying to reinstall leap 16 from scratch without using the opensuse-migration-tool.
I will give news as soon as possible.
