Hi, I wish to print the installation instructions for Minimserver which are available on line from the Minimserver website. The page shows in print preview but when I try and print, the printer wakes up but fails to print. This happens with both Firefox and Konqueror. How do I get a printable version?

Probably best to start with what kind of printer you have, whether a test
page prints from the printer control panel, what the cups setup is - and
what version of openSUSE you’re using.

When I get funny print behaviour with web pages, I select the option to
print as a PDF. Then I print the PDF later. I do that rather than lose
the info when I close the browser.

Not to mention the URL of the page you are trying to print!
In short any hard information at all!
Hi Guys,
I typed out a detailed reply with all the info requested and the reason why I didn’t post it in the first place and thought I had sent it! I have no idea where it has gone. How can I recover the auto saved messages on this website. My answer may still be lurking somewhere waiting to be posted!
Meanwhile I have found a work around using OS/2 machine but still need to solve the original problem.

The site itself doesn’t have a “post recovery” option, I recommend using
something like Lazurus (for FireFox) to save form data in the event
something like this occurs.

Hi Jim,
OK, thanks. If so do you know the purpose of “Auto-Saved” yellow flag feature that pops up every so often in bottom right corner of message frame? Why do I need to know if I cannot use it?

That’s a good question - I don’t know the answer, though - I’ll see what
I can find out.
