Cannot install Xfce themes

Running Suse 11.0 and Xfce4. The instructions on the Xfce Wiki say to extract the theme and copy the folder to either ~/.themes or /usr/share/themes. I have tried both and the themes do not show up.

I am using:

GANT Xfce-Look.org

and

garGANTuan GNOME-Look.org

If it is an icon theme, you can extract it and put it in /usr/share/icons

Nope, that didn’t work either.

Thanks anyway.

Try ~/.icons

No, that didn’t work. I now have a copy of that icon theme in every imaginable place.

Supposedly it will show up in Settings/Xfce Settings Manager/User Interface Preferences. There are a bunch of themes there from Suse. I wonder how they did it. If I knew that, I could do it to.

Thanks for trying to help.
