Boot problem

i am a very new user. I logged in as root tried to install something and when tried to reboot, machine did not load graphical interface. On Novell trouble shoot a found how to check that:
"
nld-machine:~ # grep “id:” /etc/inittab
id:5:initdefault:
nld-machine:~ #The returned line indicates that the machine’s default runlevel (initdefault) is set to 5 and that it should boot to the graphical desktop. If the runlevel is set to any other number, use the YaST Runlevel Editor module to set it to 5."
It showed that default runlevel is set to 3. But the problem is, I don’t know how to use and run YaST Runlevel Editor.
how can i change it back to 5?

at the command prompt you could just run:

yast2

and navigate to System>System Services (Runlevel) and you should see a
drop down box here you can select which is the default boot runlevel
i.e. Full multiuser with network and display manager
