I have one built-in but I don’t know how to configure it. How do I enable it?
Hi
And your openSUSE version is…? And your desktop is…?
Do you have a physical switch for it (if you have wireless they are
normally both using it). Install the application rfkill and post the
output from;
rfkill list

Hi
So it’s enabled in the BIOS? If you run the command dmesg, do you see something like;

ester@linux-i09f:~/Desktop> chkconfig bluez-coldplug
Absolute path to ‘chkconfig’ is ‘/sbin/chkconfig’, so running it may require superuser privileges (eg. root).
ester@linux-i09f:~/Desktop> sudo bluez-coldplug on

Hi
As indicated run;
/sbin/chkconfig bluez-coldplug
So do you dual boot, if so is bluetooth working? Did you check the BIOS?

Hi
When the system is booting, there is an option to go into the
system setup (press delete key or F2). In the screens there may be an
option to enable/disable the bluetooth. Are you sure there is a
bluetooth module installed in the system?

yes it’s on. Is it suppose to work out of the box or do I need something like toshset? All my Fn keys work except bluetooth.
Hi
So nothing in dmesg and nothing shown in the rfkill command now?
As root user can you run the command;
dmidecode
And then post the output here SUSE Paste and paste back the url.
