I purchased bluetooth speaker Creative D200 which supports A2DP standard for streaming music. I successfully paired the speaker with my laptop (at least KDE claims it) but when I try to connect the laptop to the speaker, it connects only for 1-2 seconds. The diode on the speaker turns blue (it’s not flashing), the indicator in KDE settings turns green, both as they should when they’re connected, but really only for 1-2 seconds. However I can’t hear any sound coming out of the speaker during this short period of time and also no new device appears among sound devices in KDE system settings. So the question is what really happens, I don’t know where to look for error messages.
Besides that the bluetooth device works fine, I am able to send a receive files from my Android phone. The speaker is also ok because I got it working with the same laptop in Windows 7.
Any ideas?
I use the OpenSuse 12.2 and this the bluetooth device:
