With previous distros I’ve used, but with different desktops (LXDE, LXQt), I was able to use the microphone in a Bluetooth (BT) headset if the electronics supported the HSP/HFP BT profile and the ofono
package is installed along with blueman
, but any audio would be monaural, not stereo. Otherwise, if the profile was not supported, it was audio-only, while using the webcam microphone.
In KDE, with ofono
installed, none of the BT devices with microphones I have supporting HSP/HFP, will work. Is it possible that the BT software included with KDE could be missing something??
Thanks in advance.
