Black rectangles top left of screen (12.3 nvidia 319.17)

Just noticed today that there is random black little rectangles at the top left of my screen.

I’m not sure what could of caused this although I did recently update the nvidia driver to 319.17 (packages from nvidia repo)

Running openSUSE 12.3 64bit kernel - 3.7.10-1.4-desktop and nvidia driver 319.17.
