Hi,

Running openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE 64Bit Linux.

Let me know, thanks!

Installed obs-studio from Packman. Works without further tinkering:

Misunderstanding? The thread title says: “Screen recorder”. I admit that the post text itself does not say so.

AFAIK OBS-studio can do screen recording as well, but it might be a bit of overkill. There’s a couple I have used in the past:

  • simplescreenrecorder
  • recordmydesktop

vokoscreen

+1 easy to use and good quality

I’m using a screen recorder called Joyoshare VidiKit. It helps me save online videos in high quality. Sometimes I will also use it to record gameplay and make how-to videos for my students. It can create high-qulaity videos with no watermark. OBS is a great option as well. But it may take you some time to figure out how this program works if this is your first time using it.
