BCM43142 Broadcom device(Bluetooth + Wifi) slows down Wifi when bluetooth is turned on

I am using opensuse leap 15.1 on my vaio with BCM43142 as the network controller. I managed to run the bluetooth device successfully by downloading the firmware files from this link
https://dev-pages.info/ubuntu-bluetooth/
Now the problem is, the internet speed drops significantly the moment I turn the bluetooth to any device and doesn’t recover even if I turn the bluetooth off. Only after a reboot I am able to get the actual internet speed(that I was getting before turning the bluetooth on).
I am using broadcom-wl package from packman as the Wifi driver.
The output for lspci is below:

Before trying to analyze the issue any further, I suggest you remove the ubuntu firmware files and install bcm43xx-firmware
