battery discharge when notebook is power off

Hello All.

I have a HP pavilion notebook and it has a problem with the battery discharge when it’s power off. If the baterry is at 100% of charge, and I power off it and disconnet the cable, the battery get 0% of charge at 48 hours. There may be a hardware problem for sure but is there a BIOS configuration parameter to check?

You need shutdown/poweroff, not sleep mode.

If you’re successfully shutting down Leap then this is probably the right question. Just to be extra clear, how are you powering off your system?

Some BIOSes have options to charge / power USB devices while the PC is off. It could also be keeping the NIC active to listen for network boot messages.
