Autologin wont stick

Have autologin selected in Opensese 11.2 - however, sometimes I am still prompted to login.

Any time I have made a change in Yast2 it seems to screw with the autologin setting.
After making any kind of change (like installing software) I also then need to go to user&group management and then disable it - then re-enable it again - otherwise it just stops working.

On some investigation - it does nto appear the issue is related tome making any changes in YAST at all.
It is just completely random from what I have been able to observe over the last week.

Anybody have any idea?
