Auto login to X

I’m trying to set up an autologin on an OpenSuse minimal install of 11.2. So, no Gnome or KDE, just X and TVWM.

I tried setting this up in via the Display Manager setings in the SysConfig editor, but that didn’t work.

Does this have to be scripted somehow (how?) or is there another setting in Yast which will do this?

May i be so presumptuous to assume that you have:
made a proper install,
then setup users and passwords,
then setup X and TVWM,
then setup the no login;
in that order?
