ath5k wireless chip

A friend has an old Toshiba laptop which I revived by installing Leap on it. However, though she has the ath5k kernel module installed, it looks as if the kernel no longer recognises it as the wireless has stopped working.

Running rfkill list I get

Soft blocked: no
Hard blocked: yes

Any advice welcome.

Hi
Old laptop, hard blocked means there is a slider switch around the edge of the laptop that has been turned off, find that, turn on and will be good to go.

Thank, I had forgotten about wireless switches - my Dell notebook of a similar vintage does not have one. So it never occurred to me!
