The problem is as follows Win7 64 in idle uses about 25W, Suse 12.1 48W which is a huge difference.
Numbers taken with same hardware and same measuring device(not the best but hte difference speaking for itself)
As i use it as a Server with lots of idling it does matter.
Any ideas?

You are probably using the intel i915 graphics driver. Then it’s a known issue with newer kernels. Try to boot with this kernel parameter:
i915.i915_enable_rc6=1

That’s it.
Power minus 22W, sensors shows coretemps down 10°Celsius compared to before.
