So I went with Leap 16.0, Agama installer was fine via remote access since it has an nvidia gpu. Only thing I had to do with storage was stop it deleting the MacOS partition.
I’ve not look at the Broadcom wireless driver yet, it’s connected over USB Ethernet which is fine for me.
My April 2026 screenshot, with GNOME 50 now working perfectly on my system. Only the Caffeine extension has stopped working.
i always go overboard on these. i like showing what i put together and i haven’t made a post in a little bit. been running it like this for a few months now. i’ve had some ideas but not the time. i got the rofi/hyprsunset script done recently though. and a shiny charmander lol

caffeine still working here with 50 straight away after the update.
Hello. Yes, it’s working now. All the extensions I use in GNOME 50 (Dash to Dock, Blur My Shell, Vitals and Caffeine) are now working for me.
I’m still waiting for Media controls & bring out sub menu of power button to come back.
