Any Anime fans Here?

The first Anime which I have seen, was saber rider and the star sheriffs. That was Anime for me.

Actually Saber Rider and star Sheriff was a good anime series.
The mecha transformation sequence was awesome
It went something like “Ramrod ready to ride…”

It is an old Anime which I saw when I was younger. Now I have not time to see Animes, you know that, If you study in university you have not time to see tv.

Yeah.Best of luck for your exams

Well I never stopped watching anime during my studies :stuck_out_tongue:

Best regards,
Greg

Yeah.Best of luck for your exams

Thank you. I hope when you go to university to continue to see Animes:)

That is good, but there is not for me free time to see tv because after university I have job building programmes projects for a company.

That’s a shame. I’m really glad I didn’t had a job at that time and I could peacefully enjoy my student’s life

Best regards,
Greg

That’s shame to lose the new Animes. Are there new animes on tv? I do not know because I have seen Animes since 2005.

Almost none on polish TV. Don’t know about greek though :stuck_out_tongue: I download my anime using p2p.

Download through here:www.gamato.me

It’s a pretty broad topic. I have watched anime myself, but might be
hard pressed to either name specific programmes or hold an in-depth
discussion about it as an art form.

I am an avid Anime watcher but I trend to not be much into stuff like Aria and Hidamari Sketch and not into stuff like Death Note or Giant Robot, armored suit type genres.

I use P2P and XDCC but also buy several DVD series per month on average. I always have pre-orders out.

I am not your typical Anime fan as I am much older than most.
Besides Amateur Radio most of my time is devoted to consuming anime.
I use smplayer, xchat and deluge on openSUSE for my non DVD anime consumption.
I spend an hour a day on my treadmill and have this system here set up to clone the monitor and have a 25 inch HD LCD TV in front of my treadmill. It has two DVD players hooked up to it as well.
Right now I am watching Asobi ni Ikuyo and re-watching Princess Resurrection TV on the treadmill and re-watching Aria the Origination and Sky Girls TV while eating meals. I also am watching a few titles from Spring 2011 at random times and DLing stuff for future consumption.

Great to meet one more anime fan
Well i sort of watch any anime which doesn’t rely much on fan service and has a decent story line
I am a hard core gundam fan.Waiting for “ACE” with bated breath ,though it may disappoint old school gundam fans like me

I’m always baffled by the gundam wing popularity  I watched one of the series (don’t remember exactly which one) and for me it was one of the most boring anime of all time :stuck_out_tongue: What is the phenomenon of gundam ?

Btw, your recommendation about “Kimagure Orange Road (TV)” was great for me as I watched the whole series and really liked it although it doesn’t beat Beck in my books

Best regards,
Greg

Hi, I’m new to the forums. (Second post). I came from Debian.
I’m a huge anime otaku. I’ve been watching anime since the days of Robotech & Voltron.
Ended up watching everything that interested me in english and started watching some nice new animes in japanese.
Getting sick of reading subtitles, though so I started learning 日本語.
Here is a (not quite up-to-date) list of what I have/n’t seen to get you started on what animes you can talk to me about.
