Amarok not working

I updated amarok and now it won’t work. It pops up in the task bar and the little symbol bounces up and down like it is trying to start but after about 15-20 seconds it disappears. I tried running in terminal and got this:

All your base are belong to us.
seth@linux-allj:~> amarok
KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should not do that since it most likely will not work
amarok: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/libgstaudio-0.10.so.0: undefined symbol: gst_base_sink_set_last_buffer_enabled
unnamed app(21797): Communication problem with “amarok” , it probably crashed.
Error message was: “org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown” : " “The name org.kde.amarok was not provided by any .service files” "

What sort of upgrade? Explain

Post your repos

zypper lr -d

I just went into yast and did update packages if newer version is available and amarok was one of the ones that were available. I suppose I should have said “update” not “upgrade” sorry. But here is the output:

Change priority of Update to 99

Now we can add back the new Packman repo like this:
Open a terminal and become su -

zypper ar -f http://packman.inode.at/suse/openSUSE_11.3/ packman
zypper ref

Now go back to software management and do this on the kde46

When that’s done do it on packman

O.k. that worked thank you very much!

Amazing
Well done
