Alternative to RHs system-config-authentication application

I would like to know what is OpenSuse application that does the same job of RH’s system-config-authentication application. I need to test Active Directory authentication while setting up Samba file server to use AD accounts and ACLs.

unfortunately i don’t actually know the answer and maybe very few here
do also…because, if i were a SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) user i
wouldn’t ask the reverse question in the Fedora forum, instead i’d go to
the pros in the Red Hat forum…

so, likely you need a SLES answer from the pros…they hang at
forums.novell.com, but you are welcome to stay here also to see who has
an answer…

my only would be: have a look at YaST and the openSUSE Samba specific
tutorials at http://opensuse.swerdna.org/

ps: i ran Red Hat before there was a Fedora.

To configure how your system authenticates to other things use Yast.
Googling for ‘yast active directory authentication’ (w/out quotes) turned
up this link:

Good luck.
