I just wanted to drop a note to the devs and say, nice work!
I’ve been using Debian based distros for as long as I can remember and other than having to support RHEL on a bunch of servers at work the last experiance I had with an RPM based distro was RH 9. Ubuntu was my desktop distro of choice for a long time but the last few years they’ve just been going downhill when you consider stability, IMHO. Even the last LTS was pretty crappy.
So after going straight to Debian for my desktop for about a year now, I’ve switched to openSUSE 12.1. I’m still getting used to the package management, but other than that, I love it!
Stable, fast, up to date, extra repos for everything, and YaST is awesome! Thanks, devs!
