Just wanted to inform that it’s fixed.
Gave the Agama Tumbleweed installer another try and now you don’t have to connect to the Internets via ethernet cable anymore. It’s now possible to connect WiFi.

Nice! That was indeed one of the problems I had last week trying to install OpenSUSE for the first time in a long while. My solution was to establish wifi through another TTY using nmtui, and only afterwards opening the GUI of the Agama installer. But this is considerably better.
