After Sleep DVD (RAID) has no power

hi,

When I return to the Desktop after Sleep mode, my DVD Drive cannot be used or opened. It seems to get no power. It’s on a SATA RAID Controller. Everything else works after Sleep.

I give you some specs, dunno exactly what is important:

12.2, KDE, 64bit

Model: PHILIPS DVDR1648P1
Model: Intel 82801IB (ICH9) 2 port SATA IDE Controller
Board: ASUS P5K

Wasn’t that part of your statement?

That seems to be a very special hardware configuration.

Can it be that you connected the DVD drive to the wrong plug on the motherboard?
