Aeon Desktop and Encryption Password

I have been exploring using Aeon, but the few times I have set it up and go to switch to another distro, it asks for my encryption password. Though I use the one that shows on the screen at install, it never seems to work.
Also, the GDM load time at boot seems very slow. I would almost like to see the boot process so I can see where it seems to be getting stuck.

“switch to another distro”

Do you mean dualbooting on the same hardware, and probably from the same physical drive?

Thanks for your reply. No, I mean when I try to fresh install a new distro, or anything else that would require me to enter the encryption password. The password simply doesn’t seem to work. I can share the contents of the tik log if there is a way to attach the file here. In addition to that, every time I have installed there is also an error message, even though everything works. The most recent one read: Command keyctl revoke 323203844 FAILED

@michaelreedastro What at @sfalken means, are you dual or multi-booting this system? If so, then it’s not supported.

If it’s just a single boot system, then you need to create a bug report and attach the tik.log to that… See https://github.com/AeonDesktop/Project/wiki/Reporting-Bugs

No I am not dual booting. That is what I meant be fresh install. Just a single fresh installation.

Will file a bug report in the morning. Thank you. I have the system working. I am just filing the bug for the benefit of development.
