i’m having big trouble installing a cannon printer. i’ve disabled the firewall. it worked once and detected, but i restarted the firewall and restarted pc, and the printer is gone.
it’s not seeing it again!
how can i troubleshoot this?

how can snoop the protocol/port so i can open in the firewall?

thanks! that was exactly the solution. solved it in r/openSuse 
somehow google didnt catch the thread you pointed…
