Aarch64 images for Slowroll

Hello,

I’m looking for some information regarding the plan(s) for building aarch64 images for Slowroll, if any, similar to those existing for Tumbleweed.

I couldn’t unfortunately find mentions or statements about it so I’m curious. I would assume that building aarch64 would maybe be up for consideration once/when a specific milestone for the x86_64 versions would be reached but perhaps it’s something that has not been considered before. Maybe the fact that I couldn’t find information about that is a sign that there isn’t enough interest in the community to see aarch64 images yet.

Either way, I would be curious to know what people do know on this topic; that would be an exciting development for Slowroll, but I don’t know if this opinion is shared with a lot of other people.

Thanks in advance for any feedback/information!

For now, Slowroll is only for x86_64 - same as the main Tumbleweed repos.

When aarch64 moves out of ports and gets added as a main arch in https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:Factory , that would be the easiest path to get it into Slowroll.

I remember that Dirk Mueller once collected a list of requirements for architectures to become supported. Among others it needed to have good coverage in openQA and people that care for fixing problems with tests and builds related to that arch. Currently I only know of Guillaume from ARM doing that.
