192.168.1.1

I tried to connect by configuring my ASDL to PPPOE by 192.168.1.1 in the browser. It should be able to connect. But I can’t seem to receive any data (the data LED isn’t blinking when it should). I’m using wired LAN.
Seems like LAN isn’t configured.
Or is it?

What is wrong here?

Just go in to YaST - Network Devices - Network Settings

Select the listed eth0 device and edit it and just move thru the settings accepting the defaults.

See if that brings it to life

Next time you post, provide more info
Like what version of SUSE, what network device you have and the router type etc…

I’ve tried that but it doesnt seem to work.
the network device is Marvell Yukon 88E8071 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet.

Box: openSUSE 11.2 | (KDE4.3.5) | Acer R03-B1 motherboard | AMD64 X2 5200+ | ATi Radeon HD 4670 | 3GB RAM

open a terminal and paste in this and hit enter, then post the result

/sbin/lspci -nnk

I found this config info. Apparently it will work, just follow this
Configure Marvell Network Card - openSUSE
