Can someone help me with this? I used Unetbootin to put RC 2 on my USB stick and when I tried to boot from it I got this message:
“Could not find kernel image: gfxboot”
Here you can see it in my video of me trying to boot it
openSUSE 12.3 RC2 - Part 2 - YouTube
You posted in the wrong forum. (Should be in the Beta forum).
Try copying the ISO directly to your USB with dd or dd_rescue.
That worked fine for me (both DVD image and KDE live image) at 64bit version. I used dd_rescue.
Yes, you were right, it worked. There appears to be a bug with Unetbootin, it doesn’t work with making USB images correctly for openSUSE… Thanks
The format of the iso has changed, to accomodate UEFI booting. That possibly confuses unetbootin.
This CLOSED for the moment and will be moved to Pre-release/Beta.
Moved from Install/Boot/Login and open again.
