The new Dolphin layout drops the old menus and instead uses a Configure button. That’s fine, but I can’t find any way to set “Show hidden files” in the configuration. Am I missing something? Dolphin is useless to me if I can’t see all my files.

The shortcut it
Atl + .
- Click the wrench in the upper right corner
- In the dropdown click Show Menubar
- When you have the menubar click View
- Select Adjust View Properties
- In the box that shows up check Show hidden files
That’ll get you going & welcome to Opensuse & the Opensuse forums!

Thanks, that does it (either Alt+. or getting the Menubar so it can be configured the old way). Don’t know why it’s not in the Preferences dialog.
