Zypper update problem

Hi,
I have a LEAP 15.5 system and was making the regular update and there was a problem that I wanto to report with a libzypp dependency …
I can not upudate or upgrade y system under these circumstances.
Anyoe had the same issue?

Please, always include that very important line with the prompt and the command. It is only one line more at the beginning of your selection sweep. Then all output up to and including the line with the new prompt.

We now have only (some, is this complete?) output without any contect about what you did to get it.

But I think that the option:

deinstallation of python2-zypp-plugin-0.6.3-150000.4.2.1.noarch

will solve this.

You could check before, but I guess that that package is orphaned (and there may be more of those).

This package does not exist in the default Leap 15.5 repositories.

IMO it is some sort of left-over after some upgrades like 15.0 > 15.1 > etc. I had a lot of these python2.... orphaned packages.

I have indeed upgraded this system since early 15 releases. So it makes sense to be a orphaned/forgotten lib dependency.
About the output I used YAST graphical interface and the output is the option to Print to File the warning messages.
I simply opted to de-install the missing dependency and … it all went ok.

It also explains why I had the same on only one of my systems. The one that started the longest ago.
BTW, I have more orphaned packages there, until now I was too lazy to do anything about it.

OK, but next time please explain how you got output, either by including the command (preferred of course), or by telling the details. We are not mind readers :wink:
