Is anybody else having the same problem with the Firefox file?

Also, how do I tell zypper up to ignore the offending file and install the rest?

Tried <https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_Leap_15.3/x86_64/MozillaFirefox-91.0-lp153.1.2.x86_64.rpm> just now – it wanted to download –

Re-run the update – the issue may well have been temporary.

Simply do what the Zypper prompt suggests – “ignore” means press the key “i” …

Selecting the “i” option did not help. Nothing would get installed and the next time that I would run zypper up all the patches were still offered.
I ended up downloading Firefox’s and Thunderbird’s .rpm files and install such programs manually and separately. After that, I ran zypper up again and all other patches were installed.

There is something strange with the way files get downloaded to my computer. While I was downloading the Firefox file, the process would stop repeatedly and I would have to hit the refresh button in order to continue the download. I had to hit the refresh icon about six different times. Same thing for the Thunderbird file.

This happens whether I use openSUSE Leap or MX Linux 19.3 (on two different PCs), so I am thinking that maybe my ISP (Spectrum) is doing something to discourage me from downloading large files and that’s why I am getting errors… Not sure, though, because I do not notice anything in particular when I surf the Internet with Firefox.

Check your repo urls. It is known that “curl” sometimes has issues when the repo uses “https” instead of “http”.

You may have to execute “zypper refresh --force” to force the recreation of the repositories’ meta data …
