Zypper (i think) is bugged out

Suse 11.0, x86.

I keep getting notified that updates are available for my system. Try to install them, put in password, and it does nothing. Proceeds to keep informing me updates are available.

I try to manually update them, but they don’t get removed from the update list. What’s going on?

Pls help.

try and do it from console su then password then zypper up -t package
it is what i have to do all the time

I did “zypper up” and it updated a bunch of stuff, but did not have any effect on it.

it probably wont cause i have to use konsole all the time to do updates
i only stated it as a work around till it is fixed

So what exactly is broken? I’ve had this issue with 10.3 before too, and have yet to actually correct it. :frowning:

any news on what exactly is causing this issue?
