Zypper erorr code: 408

I had this message many time when I try to update my system via zypper

Error code: HTTP response: 408
Error message: The requested URL returned error: 408

Abort, retry, ignore? [A/r/i]:

And I must answer that question to make it retry to connect every time that showing to me the message.

So is there any possible to make zypper take longer time retry to connect to repositories by itself? because I don’t had like this problem with Smart Package Manager!

I hope you understanding what I mean.

A 408 HTTP error code is a timout signal.

I don’t really know what can be the problem.
Maybe you add the false repo type in your zypper config ?

What are your source URI ? And type (yast2, rpm-md) ?

That message showing to me usually not always, and I should answering ‘retry’ to make zypper reconnecting to repositories.

I think zypper is quickly response to the connection state, in Smart Package Manager it takes a longer time to reconnect to repositories, so I don’t had like this problem with it.

So is there any possible to make zypper take longer time retry to connect to repositories by itself? because I had not like this problem with Smart Package Manager!
