Zypper dup: libopencore-amr* suggested vendor change - is it save to do so?

Hi,
for a few weeks now I always get a message suggesting to change the vender of libopencore-amrw packages from packman to official opensuse when doing zypper dup. But I am hesitant to do so because i fear losing functionality when doing so. But since it is that way for more than two weeks now, I am starting to think that maybe something changed license wise and the opensuse variant of that package is save to use. Can someone help me with that?

here is my console output:

home:~ # zypper dup --download-only --auto-agree-with-licenses

The following 2 items are locked and will not be changed by any action:
 Installed:
  libopencore-amrnb0 libopencore-amrwb0
Nothing to do.

I have made this update and switched to OpenSUSE vendor and no trouble since, video and audio are still playing fine in MPV, so option 1 for both worked for me so far.

From my understanding this opencore-amr package provide AAC codec support so … still working I guess.

Worst case scenario you can still re-switch vendor to packman later or do a system rollback and update again with option 2.

You can see, from which vendor you can install the package (or is installed):
zypper se -s libopencore-amrnb0

Maybe there is no Packman package anymore (Systempackage) and you should switch to the package from openSUSE (Solution 1)

These packages got removed from packman so you need to switch back to openSUSE. This got already outlined in several posts like this
