I attempted to update TUMBLEEED on a 32-bit laptop and got the message “Problem: nothing provides plasma5-addons = 5.13.0 needed by plasma5-addons-lang-5.13.0-1.1.noarch”. I looked in the TUMBLEWEED repository and saw that there was only a 64-bit RPM.If there is no 32-bit version, then why is there a 32-bit version of plasma5-addons-lang-5.13.0-1.1.noarch?

Some packages are build and published quicker than others.
Same mostly for kernel-macros, kernel-source or kernel-devel as the kernel-default-kmp in kernel:stable.

Shouldn’t blocking a package automatically block packages dependent on it? Is there an option I can add to
zypper -dup
to skip updates for which the dependencies are not available? Thanks.
No. And there shouldn’t be. KDE and GNOME packages need to be from the same build, that would break.
