Zypper dup errors out due to "time out" on two repos?

I ran a zypper this AM because I wanted to see what a 5K package upgrade would look like in the console . . . but it errored out in the repos??

Is this because the servers are overwhelmed with running these XZ??? replacement packages?

Or, the repos have been changed because of this problem??

sudo zypper ref && sudo zypper dup
[sudo] password for root:

@non_space no, just some mirror issues that took a number of hours to resolve…

Hmm . . . OK, well I just ran the zyppering again just this minute . . . same error.

So, I didn’t intend to run the 5K package upgrade today . . . but, something to check back on in a few hours . . . or a few days???

@non_space probably later on today… the database takes about 4 hours to sync and that started an hour or so ago…

Seems like for my system the update notfier is only showing “1953 packages to upgrade” which would probably be faster than the gent who was saying “4900”???
