Zypper dup and snapper

Small question, I recently upgraded to btrfs for my new system drive.

Before doing the zypper dup should I do a snapshot manually and mark it important? Or will zypper dup make the snapshot for me?

If you installed with snapshots enabled, there is nothing you have to do manually. On each dup a pre- and post-snapshot will be made.

This requires the package snapper-zypp-plugin. It should normally be installed by default, but it is not required so it can be missing.
