Zypper and Yast offer different updates

Recently, I have noticed that Yast offers way more updates than zypper. Has anyone else noticed this as well? Using 11.0 w/KDE 4.1 beta, if it matters…

I think I might have just stumbled upon why, but instead of deleting/editing the post, I will offer my guess here for someone to affirm or use later in a search.

zypper up

looks only for patches by default. Thus, the first update (or two) had quite a few, and looked like a nice big update. Now that the machine is up to speed, it is only looking for security updates or something.

zypper up -t package

gives a lot more.
