Zypper and removed applications

I have removed Kmail and a few other default applications and installed Thunderbird as my preferred email client. There is no problem with this but in the future at some point I may run zypper inr, which will pull Kmail again. What I am wondering if there is any sort of ignore list that I can add list applications that I do not want installed.

What I am trying to avoid is letting the system update applications and having to remove them again. :slight_smile:

zypper al package

Will add the package to lock and prevent it from being reinstalled until you remove it.
