I have the zoom tarball installed to my local machine at the directory /home/usr_40476/APPS/zoom/ but I do not know how to make firefox open the 'zoomtmg://' links with the zoom excecutable at /home/usr_40476/APPS/zoom/zoom
Does the rpm which is available for openSUSE not work? Or is there another reson why you use the tarball?
By using the rpm and setting Firefox to “Ask whether to open or save files”, it will properly register the zoommtg protocol when opening a Meeting link the first time. See second picture. Zoom opens flawlessly when clicking on “Open Link”
It appears to be for leap, but i have not tried it anyway
It works on Tumbleweed. Simply sudo zypper in zoom_openSUSE_x86_64.rpm
The above screenshots are from a Tumbleweed VB. No installation issues. No protocol registration issues.
Make sure to import the signing-key as described on the download page…
