Youtube spots go faster in Firefox 48

Hello,
I use Leap42.1 KDE, and from couple od weeks (maybe less) Youtube clips in Firefox 48.0 played without sound and wiht faster moution-picture. What is wrong with my system? Zhank you for answering my questions.

it could be a lot of things, a bad cached javascript, a bad addon, messedup multimedia packages as youtube has 3 (2 html5+flash) different ways to stream video’s the answer is not that simple, let’s assume you did not do a full vendor change to the packman repo and as LEAP does not carry flash your issue is probably webm related, or you might have installed an incompatible multimedia package (it happens a lot when using the 1-click installs) before you do anything else post your repo list

zypper dup --from 5

should do a vendor change to packman for all multimedia programs.

Note once installed you no longer need libdvdcss repository it does not change and just slows updates

I’d also recomend installing bleachbit and cleaning your Firefox cache, you might have changed the youtube play speed and a leftover cookie might be causing problems

zypper in bleachbit

I did all you suggested (except removinh libdvdcss): removed caches, cleared history, installed
bleachbit, changed vendors, but nothing changed.

libdvdcss does not effect Firefox.
what graphic card and/or driver do you have?

This morning I click in Mozilla and, belive it or not - everything works fine. Maybe it was necessary to restart computer  Thank you for help me, and sorry for this mess I made.

Of course we believe you, but I would have guessed that logging out/in would have been enough.

I was thinking it might have been the new electrolysis multi-process mozilla have added, it can’t be activated if you use addons, this can be changed
I have noticed some strange behavior with electrolysis running on my fox but I changed the default setting of extensions.e10sBlocksEnabling
