Yet another Skype input audio doesn't work in 11.4 thread.

openSUSE 11.4 upgraded with zypper dup from 11.3

Skype worked under 11.3 perfectly.

According to the SMB SDB:Skype - openSUSE Skype 2.2 works with PulseAudio. Skype 2.2 is installed. None of my input devices show up in Kmix as channels. Pulse audio is the only choice I can make in the Skype audio set up. My USB Webcam works under Skype. It has an audio input available on it and it worked under 11.3 with Skype 2.1 as my audio input device. It does not work under Skype 2.2 and isn’t offered as a choice The Pulse Audio server is

All my other audio works fine my USB soundcardmodem is detected and is usable by the Amateur Radio programs I use it under.

Why Kmix is the default mixer when pulseaudio is the the higher lever audio control is the million dollar question. This URL was the winner Skype, KDE4, OpenSUSE 11.3 and PulseAudio

Well done. I provided that link since I knew that the 11.3 version still applied. They key is configuring pavucontrol.
