yawp for 42.1

Does anyone know how to get YaWP (Yet another Weather Plasmoid) for
42.1? It was I thought the best weather widget available, but I can’t
find it anywhere for 42.1.

Can it be ported over from KDE 4? if so, how do we do that?

Try http://sourceforge.net/projects/yawp/

It looks as though you have to compile it yourself.
I havn’t tried this as I cant login to plasma 5 in leap.

the developer reported back in April 2015 that he’d been too busy to complete the port to plasma 5 and would get to it asap.
There haven’t been any further updates since then.

edit: actually, you’ll see on that sourceforge page that there were a flurry of plasma 5 commits back in Aug / Sept and the statement that it is still a work in progress.
