For the past several days I have been getting a notice to update but then when I try to, get the following notice of a dependency problem:
patch:yast2-control-center-4200.noarch conflicts with yast2-control-center-qt.x86_64 < 2.20.2-1.3.1 provided by yast2-control-center-qt-2.19.3-6.2.x86_64
I am running 11.4_64 with KDE 4.6.1 update.
How do I clear this?

As I can see in your repos you have pacman twice.

Remove one of them.
There have been some changes in the numbering of KDE packages. To solve this matter, I suggest you start the Software Manager, select the KDE Release repo, and go “Switch system packages …”.
Also: 1 & 7, 5 & 6 are duplicates, remove 6 and 7
Also: 8, 9 and 12 are not needed under “normal” circumstances, remove them.
If the issue persists, you could invoke
rpm --rebuilddb
Please let us know how you got on

Thanks all for the suggestions.
Was only a minor issue but things that aren’t right can be annoying; and now ropo list is cleaned up.

Hello,
I have a similar problem. I know that some issues happens because of the repos conflict, but I don’t know what should I delete.
It started when I had problem with Network Manager, so I installed it from different source. I also added some KDE repositories and don’t know what I need and what I don’t.
Here are some outputs

Just use zypper up
Not zypper patch
Don’t be surprised if things don’t work out too well for you
You basically bork multimedia by adding VideoLan, you should remove it
And you shouldn’t mix Updated apps and Upstream Release repos for kde
OK, Thank you
I removed VideoLan, KDE Upstream and Mozilla repositories now, and reinstalled some mozilla packages. Now the only thing that’s left is this networkmanager conflict

Typically, don’t.

(from 11.4 x86_64 “Celadon” at Telcontar)
OK, I won’t
I resolved mozilla issues by choosing another repo (Updates) form yast software management, not by patching.
Thank You

Well, if you don’t “zypper patch” you will not get any security
updates. Better to remove the offending KDE repo and “zypper dup” to get
you system back to working correctly.
