yast2 sw_single doesn't start up?!

Hi,

I’m not sure since when this happens, but at the moment yast’s software
module doesn’t want to start up at all. When I issue “yast2 sw_single”
as root from the command line, nothing happens. I can see processes
appearing “yast2 sw_single” and “y2base sw_single -S qt”, but they don’t
seem to do anything.

Does anybody know what’s going on?

zypper apparently still works, and I got the latest updates. This is
with opensuse 11.1.

Regards,
Jörg

OK the second or third reboot in a row solved the problem. Now that was
a little frightening…

Same problem here (on openSuSE 11.0)

reinstalling yast2 using zypper didn’t help… is that a qt-issue?

Any help would be appreciated

…going down for reboot now…
