Yast2 Package Manager package symbols not loaded in help

Hi,
i just need some help identifying the symbols in the YAST2 package manager. I had a application claiming that ffmpeg is missing so i looked it up in the yast2 package manager. But i found the package not uninstalled but not with a normal check mark either. Is has a checkmark with some dots below it (see the screenshot).

I though i could find some information using the help -> symbols but that does not help as you can see, there seem to be an error loading the symbol images:

That checkmark with dots indicate that it is scheduled for install (when you click “accept”). You did not request it, but it is being brought in automatically, perhaps as a dependency of something else you installed.

I have no idea why the help is not working for you. Here’s what I get (in English)http://paste.opensuse.org/images/93808915.png

I hope that helps.

Your screenshot looks like Factory.

The symbols in the help are not shown here on 13.1 either, regardless whether I run YaST in german or english.
I suppose a bug report is in order…

Yes, it is. That should not matter for what the OP wanted.

I had not thought of checking 13.1. You are right. The symbols are missing. It does indeed look like a bug.

No, but it explains why it is working for you and not for him…

Thank you, hitting the accept button started the installation of the checked packages. Shall i report this (the missing symbols) as a bug?

Yes it appears to be a bug I don’t see the icons here either. in 13.1

Note you do see the icons if you right click a package which gives a somewhat shorter list but with icons

Yes, you should report. Thanks.

Did it: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=890718
There are probably some spelling errors in it but i think it should be clear whats the problem.

I fixed this for 13.1 and requested an online update, see the bug report for details.
In short, YaST’s help text used the wrong path for the images, /usr/share/libyui/images/ instead of /usr/share/YaST2/images/.
